Catch that Turkey!

Wednesday the kids had a turkey trot where they chase a girl wearing a turkey hat it is one of Reagan's favorite things to go do the past few years.  I think it is because she gets a Popsicle well 2 one with Emma's class and then one with Tyler's class.

Here is Emma's class before the big race!

Emma waiting for it to begin!
Enjoying their treat at the end!  I know we are so lucky we can eat Popsicle in November!
 A bunch of Emma's friends!
Next was Tyler's turn.  Tyler with his teacher.
Tyler's whole class.  the sun was soooooo bright and the positioned them with the sun behind so it was dark. Plus I forgot my camera so these are from my phone.

Tyler with a few friends.
Then i took Reagan to a friends while i went in to help with Emma's class party.  Here is her whole class wearing their turkey hats they made.
 My adorable Emma!

Tyler is a wolf!

So last month at pack meeting Tyler got his bobcat and this month he earned his wolf!  He wanted to get it so bad he worked really hard on everything and he made it in time for this months pack meeting!  They had the meeting out on someones farm, had fires, and roasted smores.  But here is Tyler 'wolf"ing down some whipped cream and trying to find the 3 gummy worms!

Joe had to work late so Dill did the awards this month.
 Reagan and Sadie watching!

Tyler and the 2 other boys in his  group with there leader sister Lee!

The kids had a blast running around and getting very dirty!  not sure what was all over his shirt by the time we got home!

veterens day 11-11-11

We started off the morning with a flag ceremony with the cub scouts.

And then they learned how to fold the flag.

Then we headed over to the mesa parade with lots of friends!
This is what the kids were doing on 11-11-11 at 11:11

It was a really great time and then we went to the park for a few hours and I was soooo tired!

Halloween night!

After school on Halloween we had a carnival for church!  The kids love this carnival because they eat tons of snow cones, popcorn and candy!  The Laurels had a ring toss for the kids.  They had to get a ring around a 2 litter and then they got to keep the soda!  Tyler was the first to win!  I think he ended up winning 4 bottles of soda but he gave some away to his friends that didn't win any!  He also won the pie eating contest for his age group!  After we got home I asked him if he ate a hot dog and he said, No but I ate 3 snow cones, 1 pie, a thing of popcorn 2 cupcakes and some candy, so I am not really hungry."  Well perfect I am glad you aren't hungry.

The barrel ride was Reagan, Jaxon and Troys favorite thing to do!  they went around like 20 times each!

Troy even got his union break!

I am the Laurel advisor at church and these are 3 of my AWESOME Laurels!

Reagan did the cake walk over and over so she could keep eating cupcakes!

2 more of my AMAZING laurels!

After it got dark we trick or treated for a little bit then headed home for some much needed relaxing!  My feet and back were aching after standing and carrying everything for my kids!

parade

On Friday morning the kids had their annual Halloween parade so of course Reagan and I went to see Emma and Tyler!

After the parade I went and helped out in Tyler's class for the party!

Bobcat!

Tyler and his firend Taylor both got their bobcat at the last pack meeting!  They had a blast bobbng for apples!  Then Joe, the cub master, had a snow ball fight for all the boys.  I can not believe I didn't get a picture of that because they had a BLAST!

They had to guess how many candy corns were in the jars one only had 6 so everyone got it right but Sis. Soleburg so we had to give it to her and then we checked the other one and Bishop Soleburg won that one!

apple fun

I have always wanted to make caramel apples and I finally did!  Surprisingly my kids didn't eat much.  We made 6 apples and brought 3 to our neighbor!  I think they enjoyed making them more than eating them.

vertuccios farm

Kim called one night and invited us to Vertuccio Farm and of course we had to go!  We hadn't done anything for Halloween so I had to be a good mom and take them somewhere.  Joe even got home in time to go so it was extra special!
