Christmas morning

Christmas morning the kids slept until 7!  I told Tyler he couldn't wake me up until 6:30 and at 7 am I hear "What I could have gotten up 30 minutes ago!"  and then all 3 were in my room.

Dara and Trisha with my kids

After stockings we made beignets!

Then present time!

We then got ready for church.  we spent some time at Joe's parents house then back with my family for dinner at Emily's!

Christmas eve continued...

christmas eve we had our traditional homemade pizza!  Dara and trisha with the masterpeice.

My mom and I ready to cut.

Then we got a picture of the whole group!  it was so fun having so many members of my family here!

And the night wouldn't be complete without the nativity acted out.
Emma as Mary
 Joe was Joseph
Trisha was a Shepard and Reagan the cute little sheep!
Tyler did a wonderful job as the angel.
 My dad was the narrator.

My mom, dar and I were wise men.
My mom got all the sisters that were there matching pj's!

It was a wonderful night.  Emily, Brett, Jaxon, and Troy showed up in time for a little gift exchange.

christmas eve morning

Christmas eve morning Joe had to work but shortly after he left my parents made it from Louisiana after driving through horrible snow most of the way.Reagan quickly put grandpa to work putting together a puzzle!

then Nana and Grandpa came over so the kids could open their new trampoline from them!

The girls enjoyed a relaxing lunch and the boys got to work!  Joe actually only worked a few hours and made it in time for the building of the trampoline.

Reagan helped the whole time and earned the first jump.  Even before the net went up!

work work work

Well do you remember these pictures of the hallway in my house?

Well with the help of my AWESOME sister it now looks like this.  I still need a new light but that will come when I find the perfect one.  It looks so much cleaner and I love it!

And the worse room in the house.  (Emma just saw these pictures and exclaimed how beautiful this room was.)

The ceiling...

Trisha very hard at work at getting the paper off the ceiling!  she helped so much and I had a blast talking and singing to the radio with her!

The guest room and the hall seemed to be coming off pretty easily so I thought i would give the laundry room a try. The first 2 walls fell off so easily and I was getting soooooo excited then we got to the last 2 walls and low and behold a 3rd layer of paper.  And this last layer did NOT want to come off so we quickly put the washer and dryer back in place and continued on with the guest bedroom.

We stripped the wallpaper painted the walls and trim and got new carpet, blinds, and bedding and this is how it turned out!

Fosburgh Christmas

On the 17th we celebrated Christmas with the Fosburgh's. We did a service project for the newborns in need and made an ornament to remember the fun service we did as a family!

Even grandpa was able to make it!

all the Fosburgh Grand kids!

Emma's Christmas concert

The first grade put on a wonderful Christmas concert this year.  Emma even had 2 lines that she memorized so well!  Emma is the one on the end in the middle she really knows how to play a trombone!
