Lets play music concert

On April 30th Emma and Reagan both had their LPM recital.  They both did so wonderful!

And of course ice cream after!

Scottsdale art festival

This will defiantly be a family tradition it was a last minute decision to go to the art festival we wanted to get out of the house but didn't know if it really was something the kids would enjoy but they had a blast.  There was a kids area with TONS of crafts for them and they loved walking around and looking at all the creative art!  We even got to see a magician and all three kids were in his act!

this was one of our favorite booths all his art was made from smashed bottle caps.  there was even a banana on a spring that you could ride like a horse!

This would be such a fun table!  who doesn't love bacon and eggs!

1rst grade penguin night

We got to go see all the fun things Emma has been learning about penguins at school.  She helped make the rock-hopper penguin!  It was definitely the cutest penguin~

We love cousins!

Becky and her girls drove through on their way to CA and it was so fun to let the girls play!  We went for a walk through the neighborhood and there was an empty field full of dandelions... I wasn't sure we would ever be able to get them to leave.

They were only able to stay one day so hopefully next time they will have more time together!  Reagan and Katie loved being together!

Scout trip

The scouts took a trip to the firehouse! It was tons of fun!  Tyler has loved being a cub scout!

Garden time!!

In February we planted our first garden in this house.  It was a lot of fun and we have gotten some spinach and have a bunch of green tomatoes that should be ready soon and a pepper that is getting big!!

the kids really enjoyed planting and go look everyday to see how much bigger everything is getting,  and the chickens love all the weeds we pull from it! It's a Win Win Win!

Last Karate

This was Tyler's last karate ceremony he decided to take a break from karate now that he has scouts, chess club and piano.  I moved up in belt ranking again and had a great time doing karate!

Martin Luther King day

We met some friends at the parade on main street for a little fun!  

this lady wearing high heals and a skirt and holding a dog was soooo funny.  She acted like she had never seen a parade before.  now you must remember this is NO Macy's day parade it is local kids and organizations walking by and waiving and your occasional animal,to tell you the truth I spent more time watching her than the parade.  She we yell, "We love you Martin Luther!" and "You are the best you did so much for us!"  and if she saw a black person she was even more excited and would yell louder!  It was FUNNY!

Joe and the kids surprised me with some Shari's Berries!!  It came with one missing I didn't hurry and eat it before I had time to take a picture!

 The cherries were my favorite.  I also got chocolate dipped cookies... and I did share with the family.

In January Joe had a dentist appointment in the morning so as soon as he got home the 3 of us went to lunch and then a walk down Main Street and that HAS to lead to a BIG cookie!  

Haircuts
