New Years Eve
My dad is the king of ball games. He can think of tons of fun relays with balls and has been creating games like this since I was a kid. so we HAD to have some fun on the last night we were together. And of course we ate TONS of good food that night too.
Getting ready for the kids games here is Dara, Joe, Emma, Susanna and Brian
Tyler went first in the kid division. They had to push a ball with their nose to the first station where they played bowling. Then push the ball to the second station. At that station they shot down cups with a sling shot then push the ball to the the finish line.

Jaxon bowling he loved it so much he didn't want to leave

Next was the adults turn to have some fun. We played a lot of different games but for some reason this was the only part I seemed to get pics of.
At the end of the relay one person had to flip a ball that is on a spoon over their head and the teammate had to catch it with a cup. Here are some of my favorites.
Emily missing the ball but Trying very hard.

Christmas Day
I got up early to make breakfast and I figured the kids wouldn't be to far behind me but for some reason they all decided to sleep in and that is not normal at ALL for my kids. Tyler finally woke up for breakfast but Emma didn't wake until I went in and woke her and Reagan up. Reagan wasn't happy at all that I woke her up and would not do anything but lay on my lap or Joe's so we finally put her back to bed while we opened presents. My batteries died at the beginning of present opening so I have very few pictures.

Tyler was so excited to get band aids
Joe holding Reagan we ended up putting her back to bed and she slept until 9:45
When she finally woke up she opened her stocking and it had a bottle she didn't want to open anything else just play with her baby

Christmas Eve we all went to Brian and Susanna's house for our traditional homemade pizza and the nativity. It was so fun to have so many of my family here this year.

The train park
In Scottsdale there is a cute park with a little train that you can ride on. At Christmas they decorate the train with TONS of lights (little too many if you ask me but the kids LOVE it) and so I was so excited to take everyone for Family home evening. well it was raining and cold most of the day but I kept trying to convince everyone it wasn't too bad and to still go. We were going to picnic there but decided to just have dinner at my house then head up there. By the time we got up there it was raining harder and much colder than I thought it was. I still had fun and I think the kids did too. The next Monday it was the most BEAUTIFUL day ever. I guess we should have waited.
