Kim and Landon

We were lucky we also got to spend some time with my sister Kim and her husband Landon too!  We went swimming.

They even took all three kids on a 3 hour drive to their house and over night without me!  I know daring since they are pregnant with their first and they can't change there minds about having kids after a day and night with mine!  They took them to a movie and my kids had a ball.  You will have to ask them if they did.

Some how Tyler talked Emma into giving him massages all weekend long.

They took the kids over to Landon's brother's house to play with his nice and nephew, they all became fast friends.
A little wii dancing was played!
 And some relaxing!

Landon's sister came for the night and Emma some how talked her into playing Go Fish for over an hour.
Thanks Kim and Landon for letting us come play!

Practice makes perfect... well better

My dad put up a badminton net up and we all had tons of fun playing.  The next day I found Tyler outside practicing.  He practiced a few days in a row.  He was so cute!

Boots

My grandpa, Papa Van loved to wear boots he was a true texan!  My parents keep two pairs of his boots by the door as decoration and my kids LOVED trying them on!

Garden and Worms

My parents have a beautiful garden and the kids enjoyed picking all the veggies.  This year they had tomatoe bugs eating their tomato plants so grandpa gave them a dollor for finding tomato bugs.  It wasn't easy but they did find a few.

HOT AND STICKY!!

Even though Louisiana was a tad bit cooler it was YUCKY it was so humid you sweat from every pore in your body.  But with all that moisture did bring lots of greenery.  As we were driving into their town I asked the kids what was different here than in AZ and Reagan immediately said..."There are trees here!"  We really enjoyed the greenery!  But it was still too "sticky" as Tyler put it to play much outside.  One day Grammy got out the sprinkler for the kids to play.

Louisianna here we come~

We left July 7th for LA.  We made great time both days of driving.  On the 12 hour day we only stopped 2 times.  The kids were great and Dara was too!  She made all the meals in the car so we would gas up every 5 hours and take our potty brakes at the same time.  The second day was even better because we had half the amount of driving than the day before.  We surprised my mom by getting earlier that we had said!

The next day they had a ward water party.  the kids had a blast!
