riparian preserve

Tyler had a field trip to the riparian in Gilbert.  Here is my group the purple group.

 They dug for artifacts.

 they were able to hold dinosaur bones and fossilized dino poop!

Tyler even sat next to me and ate lunch with me!

After lunch we went for a VERY LONG walk.  And I know it is November but here in AZ it is still in the 80's so when we weren't in the shade it was a bit warm.   They saw lots of animals including a bird that swooped down and grabbed a fish out of the water then ate it and they were more excited with these silly ducks!

 It was a fun day with the Tyler and his friends!  I am so grateful I am able to be a stay at home mom and have such great times with my kids.

We went to the mall after dinner on a Saturday night and the kids really wanted to ride these.  amazingly they didn't fight over the animals and just picked one.  We had a lot of fun I am just not sure the walking shoppers had as much fun with my crazy kids riding around.

my ripstick boy~

Tyler got this ripstick for Christmas last year. about a month ago the neighbor got one so he decided to find it and the two of them practiced everyday and now they are really good.  they have been trying new tricks too!  They took a video of them doing some tricks but I will spare you (the filming isn't so great.)

baby chicks

So many of our chickens have gone to heaven so we decided to let the kids get some chicks!  They each picked two and named them.  They love going out and checking on them and petting them.

vetrans day parade

Our favorite veterans day tradition is going to the parade with friends!  We had 16 kids and 4 brave moms!

A day of races!

In the morning I ran my first half marathon (maybe only, still deciding) with Dara.  I survived but didn't get the time I was shooting for.  But I did it!

That afternoon Joe took Tyler and Emma (Reagan had a birthday party) to the NASCAR race with some friends!  Tyler didn't want to go but after it was over he said he couldn't wait to go again!  they both got their faces painted that morning at the half marathon.

It was super loud!

My boy is a bear!

Tyler worked really hard and earned his bear!  Here he is eating a bear claw with no hands... he played around mostly and showed uff in front of the crowd!

One boy earned his weblow so they are all trying to blow a bubble!
