Day 3 yummy food!

We were watching food network a week before we left and they told about a restaurant in San Diego that only servered fish. It was freshly caught right there in San Diego. So we decided we had to try it out. It was AWESOME!

Posing outside the restaurant.

We got back up to the campsite and Reagan crashed. We let her have a 30 minute nap.
We had tilapia, rice and zucchini for dinner and then a yummy dump cake with ice cream
We were really tired that night and slept good listening to the waves all night.

Sandy-ego day 1

I camped a TON as a kid but Joe and I have only done a few one nighter camp trips and most were ward camp outs were you really don't have to do much. So we were a little nervous when our friends asked us to go camping with them but we knew we had them to help out. Well on Saturday they called and said they would not be able to attend. We decided to go ahead and try to camp and it was so so so fun!
After we got there we set up camp and headed on a walk to see the beach.

Looking out from the camp ground
Tyler wanted to head down the stairs and see the water himself. I told them not to get wet this time because we needed to make dinner in a bit... well as you can see the temptation was too much.
Reagan was a l0t more cautious
Emma after walking along the beach and playing in the sand said, "Oh I see, that is why this is called Sandy- ego, it is everywhere."

I bought Joe a dutch oven before the trip and he made is first dutch oven dinner and it was AWESOME. It was a chicken and rice dish.

Before we went to bed we played a few hands of go fish!

The Children's Museum of Phoenix

We went to the Children's museum of Phoenix on Tuesday after Tyler got out of school. The kids really enjoyed it and didn't want to go home.

Here is the wind tunnel. You put things in and change which ways the wind blows and they come out different holes.
