my 30th

My family threw a little family party for my 30th before everyone left. Emily, Becky, Dara and Trisha all made me this AWESOME cake!!!

Then we all went swimming after dinner!

Thank you family for my AWESOME party! I haven't had cake with candles for at least 10 years now!

for family home evening my mom did a lesson on the Lamanites burying their swords so we made weapons and buried them.

Well in the late afternoon we decided to drive to see some fireworks. It was packed but by the time we found a spot to park and all hiked at least a mile to the park the guys went and got us some chicken and fixins. We had a fun picnic and then just played around until the fireworks started. It even got cold and I regretted my decision to leave my jacket in the car.

Reagan lost her balance and fell right onto her plate of chicken and yup you guessed it potato salad!

We had such a blast and these were one of the best firework shows I have ever seen!!! We loved the whole trip even though we had to park and walk a mile it was so fun watching the kids run and play and having a big picnic with my family.

Brett's Family has a cabin in Prescott so we decided to all head there for a little fun and cooler weather. Here are just a few of the pictures that we all took.

Prescott parade on the 4th

A few of us went into town to watch the parade and look around at all the booths they had. It was really hot so we didn't last long watching the parade we needed some shade.

We took Aunt Tisha to MOJO Yogurt in Tempe market place and ate the most delicious yogurt EVER and the kids played in the water.

My kids LOVE the water. I HATE water and swimming and being wet but I am starting to get use to it and enjoy seeing how excited they get!
