Utah - rock climibing #1

After the gardens Landon took us all to rock canyon to teach us how to rock climb. It was sooooooo much fun. He bought a harness for the kids too and they loved being hoisted up in the air.

Amy was belaying Landon and she was almost lifted off the ground it was pretty funny.

Tyler loved it so much he went the second day too. More pictures to come for that day!

Tyler tried so hard but he wore sandals and it was a bit hard for him.

Utah - gardens

On Tuesday we went to the Gardens at Thanksgiving point. It was soooo beautiful we were there for a few hours and would have stayed longer if we didn't have to get back for more fun plans.

These are just a few of the pics I didn't want to bore everyone to much but if you ever have a chance I highly recommend this place it was beautiful and peaceful and we all really enjoyed our walk there!

Utah - Mockingjay!

After Family Home evening and a few adult games we were all getting ready for bed, (it was about 10 min. till midnight) and Dara asks me if I would drive her to Walmart to get "Mockingjay" because it was being released at midnight. I told her she was crazy and I needed sleep. So she went to Joe and asked him and he said YES. So next thing we know all 5 of my sisters, Joe and I are in our mini van driving to Walmart at midnight. We got there and Dara and I ran in and it was already sold out. Everyone we saw there had the book and was flaunting it to those of us that didn't get it. So we all jumped back in the car and went to Barns and Noble. The line was HUGE. But we got it. The next morning I go upstairs to find Dara and Trisha and Tyler sitting at the table reading. Andrea took a picture so as soon as I get it I will post it. then they got kicked out because everyone wanted to eat. so I went downstairs and found them like this.

Tyler was reading one of the books from the Magic Tree House series and he read the whole thing that morning. He begged and begged to read "The Hunger Games" but I told him he needed to be a teenager first.

Utah - FHE and the temple

For Family home evening Andrea prepared an Awesome lesson about temple and being sealed for eternity.

After the lesson the kids made marshmallow temples that they could eat.

then we went down the street to the Provo temple and walked around!

Utah trip - hiking

We went back to Utah because my little Sister, Amy, got married. We went for the whole week and were BUSY the whole time having fun and seeing my whole family!!! All the siblings showed up and everyone else but my sister Kim's husband. So it was great to see everyone but we missed Kim's Landon (Amy married a Landon too).

On Monday we went hiking with Spencer, Andrea Kaden and Joshua!!

We spent a ton of time outside because it was soooooo nice!

Chop it off!

Emma has been begging to get her hair cut short for a month now. So when Emily came over I told Emily to cut Emma's hair how she wanted. I quickly tried to talk Emma into just trimming her hair but she said she wanted it short so here she is!!!
