Cabin with MOST of the family

Emily invited everyone up to Prescott to the cabin and 6 of the 9 siblings were able to go!!!  Here are all the kids (except Tyler) in the hammock

 Tyler's favorite thing to do all weekend was riding the mini quad!

 All the moms enjoyed letting the kids play and get dirty!

 Amy and Landon took the kids on a hike one morning and they all enjoyed climbing every rock they could find!

 We went into Prescott for some pizza and hanging out.

 Joe wanted to stop at a little book store in town it was crazy how packed the place was.  Amy showing you how small the isles were.  You couldn't bend over to see the bottom shelf without banging into the shelf behind.

 We played a TON of games including Handy.

It was a great weekend and great food (all prepared by Brett) and great company!

Last days of Kindergarten!

Well the kids have been out a few weeks now and we have been BUSY.  I will get to blogging so I don't get to behind. 

Emma had her kindergarten performance one day and her water party the next. 

 She had a speaking part in the play and did AWESOME!!!

I some how did not get a picture of her with her teacher at all!  But she had a great 1st year of school and can't wait to be in 1st grade next year!

Vegas with the girls!

Amy's husband Landon had a convention to go to in Vegas so Emily and I decided to drive out and keep her company during the day.  This is right after we met up at the hotel Emily and I had been driving that is why we look so bad.

 That night after Landon got out we went to find a buffet to eat.  Then walked around until we were all to tired to stand another second.  He was cold and VERY windy both days we were there.

 The next morning we headed to the casino for Emily.  She did not do to well and lost all her money fast.

 On the other hand Amy put in 5 dollars in the penny slot and it lasted for hours but she only ended up with .03.  That's why I just keep my money in my wallet!

 Then we headed out into the wind and went sight seeing.

 After picking up Landon we tried a Mexican restaurant off the strip for dinner.  After we finished out chips the liner said Schoop's Hamburgers so I had to get a picture!  Amy and Landon were not very good at making a realistic confused face.  I took about 5 pictures ...

 Then told them Emily and I would teach them how.... we only needed one picture.

 Then with our coaching they got a tiny bit better. 

 After dinner we headed back to the strip and saw the M&M store and the coke store.  We tried all the different flavors from around the world.  Most were OK but one was so bad I spit it all over  I could not fake it!

 then we headed over the serendipity... the best ice cream place ever!

 This was a deep fried Oreo shake and it was divine and I dreams about it for WEEKS and even tried to recreate it but I just need to go back!

 The next day we did some more sight seeing and before Emily and I headed off to do back home we took lunch to Landon and had a little picnic on one of the side streets.  We didn't last long outside it was pretty chilly.



April Fools!!!

Let me just start by telling you I thought I was the coolest funnest mom EVER w/hen I had this idea and my kids were SO mad at me.  I am sure later they will all laugh about it.  So I decided to play an April fools joke on the kids and I made these AWESOME meatloaf cup cakes with mashed potato frosting.  I even made the potatoes their favorite color.  They were all so excited to be eating dessert for dinner until they tasted it.

Maybe next year I will get it right and do something that makes them happy.

Happy 4th Reagan!

I can't believe my baby is 4!  Her birthday is March 30th so this post is a bit late.  The morning of her birthday she informed me she wanted to stay 3.  I asked why and she said because it is stupid to be 4 and she doesn't want to go to school.  She is such a home body.  We both have really enjoyed being able to spend so much time just the two of us this year while Emma and Tyler were in school  Some might say she is a bit spoiled! 

We made and decorated cupcakes together.

 Then went to blow bubbles her favorite pass time!

 That night we went to cici's for pizza and then opened presents!!

In March Joe put in a garage door opener for me!!!!  I have been parking in the garage for a while now but I had to get out and open it every time and it was a bit annoying now with just the press of a button I am in!
