Bobcat!

Tyler and his firend Taylor both got their bobcat at the last pack meeting!  They had a blast bobbng for apples!  Then Joe, the cub master, had a snow ball fight for all the boys.  I can not believe I didn't get a picture of that because they had a BLAST!

They had to guess how many candy corns were in the jars one only had 6 so everyone got it right but Sis. Soleburg so we had to give it to her and then we checked the other one and Bishop Soleburg won that one!

apple fun

I have always wanted to make caramel apples and I finally did!  Surprisingly my kids didn't eat much.  We made 6 apples and brought 3 to our neighbor!  I think they enjoyed making them more than eating them.

vertuccios farm

Kim called one night and invited us to Vertuccio Farm and of course we had to go!  We hadn't done anything for Halloween so I had to be a good mom and take them somewhere.  Joe even got home in time to go so it was extra special!

cousins

Before dinner we took a walk and got pictures of all the kids.  Bryce and Sylas missed the first half of the pictures but they were in the last set!

We had a great time!  It was so nice to get away from the hot weather here!  It felt even hotter when we got back.  thanks Nana it was a great trip!

craft time

We all brought a craft for the kids to do while we relaxed.  I only got pictures of one but I think it was there favorite!  They made candy necklaces!

we made it!

We didn't get in until late Thursday night so we had dinner and played some games at the house.  The next morning we went out to do some fishing.  The kids really enjoyed it.  Most of the kids it was their frirst time so we had lots of tangled lines!

for some reason the kids were more fascinated with the worms!

POP!

My mother in law rented a cabin in Greer during October break and we were super excited to spend a few days with cousins and cooler weather so off we went for fun.  We were about 30 miles out of Globe when my back tire seemed to be wobbling really bad as we were headed down this awful hill.  I started slowing down when POP we lost a tire.  I didn't know what to do but saw a look out and chanced it as we headed blindly across the other lane to park.

Lucky for us even though my sister and brother in law who were in front didn't notice our daring move my mother in law was about 5 minutes behind us and she did notice my big blue mini van and Andrea and I madly waving our arms at them to have them come help.  Nobody had cell service so they went back to call roadside assistance for help.  After an attempt to get them to come out Leanna frustratingly hung up on them and called 911.  And out came the nicest officer ever to help us out!

Lucky for him another kind person decided to stop and help him change the tire!

Angel, me, the tire and the officer after we were ready to head out only an hour and a half later!  I know you are wondering why I didn't change the tire myself and I am ashamed to say I couldn't get the spare out from under the car but it was flat anyway so it wouldn't have done us much good lucky for us the officer was able to pump it up for me so we could make it to Show Low with no problems and get a new tire there!
