So many of our chickens have gone to heaven so we decided to let the kids get some chicks!  They each picked two and named them.  They love going out and checking on them and petting them.

vetrans day parade

Our favorite veterans day tradition is going to the parade with friends!  We had 16 kids and 4 brave moms!

A day of races!

In the morning I ran my first half marathon (maybe only, still deciding) with Dara.  I survived but didn't get the time I was shooting for.  But I did it!

That afternoon Joe took Tyler and Emma (Reagan had a birthday party) to the NASCAR race with some friends!  Tyler didn't want to go but after it was over he said he couldn't wait to go again!  they both got their faces painted that morning at the half marathon.

My boy is a bear!

Tyler worked really hard and earned his bear!  Here he is eating a bear claw with no hands... he played around mostly and showed uff in front of the crowd!

One boy earned his weblow so they are all trying to blow a bubble!

We had a fun Halloween this year.  It started at the school for the parade!  all three of my kids were in it this year.  Here is Reagan's class before the parade.

I then helped out in Reagan's class I helped the kids decorate sugar cookies!  It was a big hit but also a big mess!

 After school Emma had Let's Play Music and it was a parent day so afterwards I watch my neighbors kids so she could go with her son!  I bought these eyelases last year for Emma and she didn't like them so Sammy wore them!

I am an adviser for the Laurels and we were in charge of a booth here is Anna showing the Spooktacular Wheal of Spookiness!

Of course the girls headed to the cotton candy booth first and I think snow cones was second!

By the time we got home I was ready to sleep for a week!  It was a fun and busy day!

scout day camp

Tyler and Joe had a great time at Scout day camp!  Tyler was able to pass off lots of stuff and had a blast with all the other boys in his troop!

Bottle rockets was a big hit!

Joe helped at the leather working station!  The boys really enjoyed this activity.

We got our pictures taken in October by Kacey!  She does amazing work and I am so excited as you can see by how many I posted.  Getting pictures back is better than Christmas for me!  I just love seeing my cute kids!
