I am so glad you shared your festivities with everyone. I was beginning to think that I was the only one who did things with the kids for Halloween. I love the pumkin sauce idea for the penne. I know you said it wasn't your favorite, but it tastes good in my head lol.
PAinting pumpkins is a novel idea. We went to a pumpkin carving party a week and a half before Halloween, and by Halloween our pumpkins were completely shriveled up. Next year, I am painting! I wish I could've been there.
