Joe finally talked me into putting our tree up. Well he didn't really talk me into it he just went to the shed and got it out and brought it in... what can you say to that. I know it sounds like I am Scrooge or something but I love the holiday season I just don't love having a tree up for too long. For me 2 weeks is enough. The kids are always taking the ornaments off and hiding behind it. So on December 1st we put it up and decorated it.

Now it was Emma's turn.

Well I'm glad you finally came around. i'm tellin' ya' lynnae, our family USUALLY puts this crap up on Thanksgiving....
Don't worry, Lynnae! I didn't even want to BUY a Christmas Tree! Spencer surprised me last year and bought one-now I love having our own Christmas Tree!
Your tree is so awesome. I love Christmas Trees!
This is cute. We love putting up our tree. I love having it light up the room. But I will feel differently next year with the babies almost 2. The other two don't really mess with it, but they mess with the presents under it.
Looks good! i like the background to your blog too! it's very festive
Hey your one step ahead of us. We have our tree up but nothing on it yet. The kids have been putting toys on it to decorate it. I plan on posting their decorating. How fun is Christmas, but it is a pain having the kids undecorate every day. It is even more frustrating after Christmas when you have put all the ornaments away and you find one hidden in the kids toys!!
Scrooge.
Tyler holding Joe so he doesn't fall is too cute!
I feel your pain about having the tree up too long. I usually decorate the day after Thanksgiving but the day after Christmas...BOOM it's gone!
No Lynnae, I wouldn't call you a Scrooge. Just a realistic mom. Curse ornaments on the bottom branches...you know they are going to disappear and you'll find them in July.
yeah...i'm not the only one. with a baby crawling around i am a scrooge about the tree too, and i refuse to put it up until next week, or later! if i put it up then i have to wrap the presents, which i need to buy still...the tree means way too much work. but good for you. you're way ahead of me.
