Emma Update
Well we heard from the Neurologist and saw our pediatrician and ophthalmologist yesterday. They said that they believe it might be a "Ophthalmoplegic migrane" They can occure often but the more they happen the less likely the eye will fully recover. There isn't any sure treatment to help prevent it from happening again. We are going to have one more MRI done to be sure there is nothing putting pressure on the nerve. We will not be able to see the Neurologist until March or April. Right now we are just waiting and hoping her eye opens quickly. I am glad we finally have a name to put with this problem and that we can know more about it. If you have more questions there is a lot of stuff to read if you google it. That is pretty much what I have been doing and making a list of questions for the Neurologist when I do get in to see him.

How many MRI's does that make for her? Keep us posted.
ooo does this mean that she has to wear that patch again?!
I am so glad that someone has finally figured out what is going on with her eye! I hope you find a way to prevent it, but she is still cute!! And one of my favorite kids to talk to.
I'm glad they know what they're looking for now. I'm so sorry she has to go through this, hopefully she will overcome. At least there weren't pictures planned this time, or were there??
sorry that she is having trouble again. at least you are right, you know what the problem is now
Sometimes it helps to have a name to put to it and have SOME answers, even if they aren't what you hoped for. I do pray that she will recover and that it will not progress to be much worse. We will be praying for beautiful Emma, sweet girl!
Lynnae you are such an awesome Mom! I sure miss you! Good luck with Emma's eye. We'll be thinking of your family.
I'm sorry Emma is going through that. Sorry for you too! It's so hard to be worried about your kids. Hope everything is going ok for you guys. On a bright note I love that video of Reagan crawling on the hard floor. That is so funny!
We feel so bad for Emma please keep us updated. Feel better Emma!
Love,
SBK
