Well today they had General Conference and so we had a nice relaxing day at Joe's parent's house. We took a short walk around there neighborhood. They live in a small suburb near the base. Their house is big. Most live in apartments.

A shrine in the neighborhood

Emma in front of the sign for the very old house
It started to sprinkle on the way home so Emma was thrilled to get out her umbrella For dinner Nana made us a Japanese dish and rice balls.

Your kids look like they loved the noodles. Aaron and Alyssa think it's cool that you went to Japan. They love to look at your site. We taught Aaron that they eat a lot of seafood in Japan, so he even tried real raw sushi the other day and loved it! Now he wants to go to Japan on his mission... Thanks for the influence... keep it coming!
I excpect you to make me some rice balls when you come home! I miss you. If I lived in Japan I would make a shrine and dedicate it to you. (That is a really cool picture by the way.) If you see that funny shirt again will you buy it for me and I will pay you back, unless it's like one million yen. Get a medium. I am really a large, but we're getting a gym membership today.
Looks like you all are having a lot of fun!! I am very jealous. Keep up the good times, and remember to not delete all of your pictures like you did when you were in Florida that one year!! Just having fun with you, I'm sure you have learned your lesson.
That dinner looks good, I think I will ask mom for the recipe
