Why can't everyone be honest?

On Saturday the kids were all napping and Joe was playing a video game after all his hard yard work, so I decided to get out of the house for a little bit. I went to a few stores and when I got back into Joe's car to drive home I noticed something was wrong with the hood. When I got out to look this is what I found. The store just told me to call the police and they just took a report it was a hit and run and nothing we could do about it. It is an older car and who knows how long it is going to last so we didn't want to put to much money into it. So Joe went to the "Pick a Part" and fixed it himself for only $50!!!!!

Here is Joe and his little helper, Reagan, cheering him on.
Reagan just chillin with Joe's water and her baby doll!
Emma decided it looked fun to get in some pictures so she sat still long enough for me to take some pictures and went back inside to sneak some more cookies.
There it is all done. It just needs a good car wash and then it will be close to all better!

That really stinks!! But it does sound a lot like our family - fixin' our own cars. What great skills we have (well, our husbands at least) :)

There is a lot of dishonesty going on around here. Sad isn't it? But it was hard for me to believe that something like that would happen in your teritory and not mine. LOL

It was so great to see your comment on my blog! I am always trying to track old friends down in the blog world.

Your kids are ADORABLE!!!! So cute. And you look super great, too!

Are any of your links girls or guys from Freshman year?

Way to go Joe! It is too bad you got hit but good thing it didn't cost too much to fix it! P.s. I love the yes on marriage thing! We are voting for that too here in California.

I can't believe someone did that much damage in a parking lot! How crazy. Well, at least Joe fixed it for you. I wish Dave were that good with cars.

How sad that someone wouldn't fess up to it. Sad to say chances are they probably didn't have insurance. But good job Joe! Looks great!
