This is the first book Tyler read by himself. I decided to make the pizza faces for dinner the next night. We had a lot of fun. Tyler is so SMART and such a fun kid I can't believe how much he is growing.

The finished product. The book says to use olives for eyes and red peppers for the mouth but my kids don't eat either of those so we used peperoni (which didn't show up as well) and tomatoes.

How amazing that Tyler can read! I just remember when he called Lee, "Johnson" and brought cookies over to our house. Way to go Tyler! :)
What a cute way to incorporate his book into a fun activity! Have you tried him out on www.starfall.com? We use this with kinder and 1st graders at Laird.
