The hike

 we were crazy and hiked in August!  it was sooo hot but we made it well we think we might have we got lost on the trail and are not sure if we were on flat iron but we got to the top!

Family night at the pool!

One night we all got together at the pool for a fun night of swimming and a yummy dinner!

Even little Molly got dressed up to have some fun!

while the kids were at school My mom, dad, Trisha Dallin and I went to phoenix to the science center and of course to get Rita's!!!

Joe, Tyler, My Dad, Dallin and Trisha all went to see a diamond backs game!  Tyler loves going!

My craft room!!!!!

So after I graduated (another post!) Joe told me I should start redoing my craft room I was thrilled and started right away!  

Before

I de-wall papering and painting the room blue then I added a chevron stripe around the top!  

I decided to rip up the carpet and with a lot of Blood sweet and tears (yes literally all 3) I scrubbed, scraped and even got on my hands and knees and washed the floor.

Then I painted the floor and when I got to the sealer it all went down hill and that is when the tears came!  It left white lines all over and looked horrible I called the paint company and they said to scrap it all back off and start over!  WHAT!!!  No way it took forever to get where I was.  so I went to home depot and the guy gave me some primer to paint over it all and I started it all over.  It takes forever because you have to wait so long in between coats.  

Then was Joe's turn to shine!  Putting in the cabnits and counter tops was his hard work and we worked late into the night working to finish them up before my parents got into town!

Then I made curtains and hung things up and now I have the most awesome craft room ever!

 I put a chair in the room for Joe to sit and read when I am working on a project!  But I find myself sitting in it when I need a little me time away from the kids!

 I really love working in there and I don't have to clean up my project when I haven't finished!

Emma got a new night gown and it had this sleeping mask.  They all thought it was so funny and wanted me to take pictures of them.

Joe's 34th birthday!

For dinner we went to the Burger bar.  Joe loves the show diners drive ins and dives and whenever we can we try a restaurant from the show.

It was really good we got elk burgers onion rings fries and mushrooms.

And of course vacation means daily ice cream!

After dinner Amy and Landon showed us this cool train station!

Then back for some cake!  I know we already ate dessert but what is a birthday without CAKE!?

Amy Dee's day! part 1: the kike

Amy and Landon planned a fun day for us too!  It was joe's birthday but before the festivities began we went on a real fun hike!

We made it now lets go eat ton's of dessert for Joe's birthday!
