My craft room!!!!!

So after I graduated (another post!) Joe told me I should start redoing my craft room I was thrilled and started right away!  

Before

I de-wall papering and painting the room blue then I added a chevron stripe around the top!  

I decided to rip up the carpet and with a lot of Blood sweet and tears (yes literally all 3) I scrubbed, scraped and even got on my hands and knees and washed the floor.

Then I painted the floor and when I got to the sealer it all went down hill and that is when the tears came!  It left white lines all over and looked horrible I called the paint company and they said to scrap it all back off and start over!  WHAT!!!  No way it took forever to get where I was.  so I went to home depot and the guy gave me some primer to paint over it all and I started it all over.  It takes forever because you have to wait so long in between coats.  

Then was Joe's turn to shine!  Putting in the cabnits and counter tops was his hard work and we worked late into the night working to finish them up before my parents got into town!

Then I made curtains and hung things up and now I have the most awesome craft room ever!

 I put a chair in the room for Joe to sit and read when I am working on a project!  But I find myself sitting in it when I need a little me time away from the kids!

 I really love working in there and I don't have to clean up my project when I haven't finished!
